How It Works | Christmas Light Installation in Bakersfield | Just Be Bright
How it works

You never buy lights, and you never store them.

The whole thing is a seasonal service, not a purchase. Here is exactly how it goes, start to finish.

See My Home Lit Up

The part people ask about first

Whose lights are they?

Ours. That is the single biggest difference between hiring us and buying a box of lights at the hardware store.

We own commercial grade bulbs, cords, clips and timers. We cut them to fit your house specifically. You lease the display for the season. In January we take it down and it goes back to our shop, where it is stored, tested and repaired for next year.

So you are never buying a system, never storing bins in the garage, and never hanging bulbs that spent eleven months in a Bakersfield attic. Next season it is one phone call.

If you already own lights you love, ask us. We have made exceptions. It is just not what the service is built around.

Details that matter

The things people find out too late.

No staples or nails

We use clips designed for shingles, tile and gutters. Nothing gets driven into your roofline and nothing is left behind in January.

Timers included

Your display turns itself on and off. You are not walking outside in the cold to flip a switch.

Power is your part

We need working exterior outlets near the display. If your outlets are dead or missing, that is an electrician’s job, not ours.

Weather and vandalism

Bulbs and strands that simply fail are on us. Storm damage, theft, vandalism and damage caused by others on the property are not, though we will still come out and quote the repair.

Cancellations

We book the season in advance and turn work away to hold your date, so cancellations carry a charge. It is spelled out in the agreement.

Booking order

Installs are scheduled in the order deposits come in. October bookings pick their week. December callers take what is left.

Straight pricing
$1,000 – $1,500What most Bakersfield homes pay
