Just Be Bright is owned and run in Bakersfield by Billy Bright. We are not a franchise and not a seasonal crew assembled every November.
Who is actually doing the work
Four employees plus me. The same people, every job, wearing Just Be Bright polos and driving out from our own shop. They are trained on our equipment and they work together year round, which is not true of most crews doing this in Bakersfield in November.
This is our third season. We started small on purpose, took on about a dozen homes a year while we learned how to do it right, and built the process backward from what went wrong. The measuring, the design previews, the custom cut strands and the storage program all came out of that.
We are certified through CLIPA, the Christmas Light Installation Professionals Association, which sets standards for how this work should be done and keeps a directory of installers who meet them. We carry general liability and workers’ compensation coverage, and we can provide a certificate on request.
Why we work this way
Nobody else in Bakersfield will tell you what this costs without a phone call. We think that wastes your time and ours.
A number pulled out of the air is how you end up with a display that stops halfway across the house.
You should not have to imagine what you are buying. You see your own house, lit, before you commit.
We are not driving to Delano and Tehachapi. Staying close means we can actually come back out when a strand goes dark in December.
The people on your roof are on our payroll and covered by our insurance.
Storing and maintaining your display is our problem, not yours. That is the whole point.
